New information on a south Florida family set to appear on the Judge Judy television show.As it turns out it looks like they won't be making the trip to California after all. Monday, we told you Judge Judy wanted to do an episode on seven year old LaTarian Milton of Riviera Beach who grabbed the keys to his grandmother's S-U-V and went for a joyride in Lake Park in April. He hit several cars, but was not injured. His grandmother Vikkita Stratford told us at the show's request, she sued LaTarian's mother in small claims court in Palm Beach County for $5000 to partially pay for damage to the S-U-V.She also said Judge Judy was going to have the youngster, his mother and grandmother come on the show to hear their case. The show told us the taping was set for July 1.However, Gary Rosen, a spokesperson for Judge Judy has just released a written statement saying quote: "Judge Judy does not believe in fostering litigation and if that is what happened, then canceling the case was the only option." Rosen would not elaborate.
